Burgas Was Chosen for European Sports Capital 2015

Burgas was officially approved for European Sports Capital in 2015. The confirmation came with letter by Mr. Jean Francesko Lupeteli - president of ACES Europe - Association of European capitals and cities of sport, which works in cooperation with the European commission.

Our city is chosen among 20 candidates from Europe. Strong influence on the jury has had the policy of Burgas Municipality for reconstruction of sports infrastructure - swimming pools, sports complexes, sports playgrounds and bike alleys, school playgrounds and salons. 

Different events and activities will be prepared for the sports program of Burgas for the next year.
