International Regatta "Port Burgas 2014" will be held in Burgas from the 30th of April to the 4th of May. This is the biggest sailing competition in Bulgaria in recent years. Its organizers are Yacht club "Port Burgas", Burgas Municipality and Port of Burgas.
The regatta is called "Burgas Sailing Week" since 2004.
Guests and residents of Burgas will be able to watch daily the races, which will be directly in front of the Bridge. The bay will be filled with young sailors, who will show their skills and will fight for winning.
International Regatta "Port Burgas" is the only Bulgarian competition, which constantly presents in the international sports calendar of the international sailing federation /www.sailing.org/ since 1997.
This year the competition will be attended by participants from Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Rumania, Turkey, Kuwait - more than 150 yachts and over 180 competitors.
International jury and judges from Bulgaria, Russia, Greece and Israel were invited for the regatta.
